Affirmations are positive statements about what you would like to happen in your life.
They are not wishes; they are commands. The use of affirmations is a great way to create the future you want by changing the way you talk to yourself.
Your words are the equivalent of the starting gun in a race. The race is the process of bringing your desires into manifestation and the words you say at the start of that process create an atmosphere in which you can run faster and achieve more.
Affirmations are usually short, positive sentences that are spoken as if you have already achieved the goal. For example, if you are trying to make more money, you might use the affirmation, “I am making $100,000 a year.”
When you use an affirmation, remember to keep in mind that the present is the child of the past and the parent of the future. If you are constantly talking about how poor you are and how you don’t have enough money, you are creating a vibration that is going to attract more of the same. If you change the way you talk about your circumstances and start to use positive words, you are creating a vibration that is going to attract more of the same. The words you use, spoken or unspoken, are like a seed cast into the air. They may fall on barren ground or on soil so rich that they will immediately begin to grow and bear fruit.
